1991
Additional staff members and new programming expanded the vision of the agency and emphasized the need for a larger facility. At this time Paul Tobin chose to leave the agency to go into private practice. Under the direction of the new Executive Director, Mr. Joey Shaw, the organization moved to 7 North Broadway.

1992
Almost 100 teens were referred to the Edmond Teen Court during the first nine months of this new program, designed to provide a community-based alternative to the Juvenile County Court process for alleged youthful offenders. The teens were judged by their peers, thus providing justice for youth by youth.

1993
The "Intern Training Program" of Edmond Family Services continued to grow under Joey Shaw's leadership. This program helped to facilitate the transition of new professionals into the community as it provided quality services to clients.

1994
Edmond Youth Council celebrated its 20-year anniversary! To better express the growing diversity of services provided to the community, the agency changed its name to Edmond Family Services.

1995
In response to the tragedy in Oklahoma and our nation, the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, therapists from Edmond Family Services joined with hundreds of other professionals to provide support and therapy for those in need.

1996
Edmond Family Services and the HOPE Center made plans for a new site which would house both independent, not for profit agencies. The two organizations cooperated in order to give even more efficient, advanced services to the community.

1997
The third annual Classic Car Show raised funds for Hope for Families, the board responsible for the new building venture for the two agencies. This board, comprised of board members from HOPE and Edmond Family Services, Inc., worked tirelessly to bring this project to fruition.

1998
The Classic Car Show became known this year as the Route 66 Classic Car Show and was held at the University of Central Oklahoma. Proceeds from the show benefited the Hope for Families building project.
