Our Story
Our roots trace back to 1974, when a youth recreational center was established in response to a tragic event and a growing need for connection and belonging among young people.
As the needs of our community evolved, so did our mission.
Today, Edmond Family Counseling is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing counseling, education, prevention, and early intervention services that strengthen individuals, families, and our community.
For over 50 years, we have remained committed to one guiding principle: people over profit and access to support for all who need it.
Hope. Healing. Support.
Why We Exist
We believe every person deserves access to hope, healing, and support.
Our mission is to strengthen the emotional well-being of children, families, and individuals through counseling, prevention, education, and early intervention services.
As a nonprofit organization, we are committed to making mental health resources accessible, building resilience, and creating a healthier community for generations to come.
Because when individuals and families thrive, our entire community grows stronger.
